1. Formulate strategy /action plan for prevention of theft of assets at
unmanned network sites & monitor implementation
2. Analyse previous theft incidents to identify critical theft prone
clusters / areas / sites and prepares region/ cluster specific theft
prevention plan
3. Implement theft prevention measures such as infra strengthening ,
Patrolling , Jio Mitras , etc and analyse their effectiveness in
preventing thefts
4. Track all theft cases pan India and provide guidance / advice to the
respective field teams for taking appropriate actions and track
investigation progress
5. Follow-up with RIL legal teams at NHQ and at the states to pursue the
cases in court of law and take the case to logical closure
6. Drive Training / awareness programmes among internal employees such
as technicians / vendor manpower to minimise internal involvement in
thefts
7. Drive implementation of specific projects for deterring thefts due
internal employees such as bio-metric blacklisting / background checks
etc.
