1. Perform daily payroll department operations2. Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processedaccurately and timely3. Understand proper taxation of employer paid benefits4. Maintain payroll reports and files ensuring accuracy for recordkeeping and audits5. Assist in payroll tax filing reconciliations and ensuringdiscrepancies are accurately, timely, and appropriately resolved6. Responsible for the setup, maintenance, and reconciliation of allemployee payroll garnishments,tax forms,direct deposits, and otheremployee benefits, including coordination and communication with theemployee as needed7. Researches and analyses regulatory updates and other informationimpacting the payroll system; implements required changes to system8. Liasoning with the Govt. bodies for audit and inspection of statutorycompliance such as PF, ESIC, Gratuity, Actuarial like Bonus, LeaveEncashment and Gratuity9. To do the Full & Final settlement of the resigned employees10. Respond to all queries raised by the employees, adhering to SLAdefined
Masters Degree / Diploma in Human Resources will be preferredGraduate in Science / Commerce / Arts / Engineering
Minimum 5 Years - Maximum 6 Years
1. Proficient at Microsoft Office(especially Excel)2. Knowledge of payroll tax laws in a multi-state environment3. Working knowledge of payroll best practices4. Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations5. Strong work ethic and team player6. Ability to deal sensitively with confidential material7. Strong interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills8. Ability to communicate with various levels of management9. Decision-making,10. Problem-solving11. Analytical skills
